PSHCE - All about me. 6 Weeks planning designed for students with special needs, can easily be adapted to suit your students, may be helpful for early years and foundation.

I created a quick piece of planning, including electronic resources. This took me a lot of time as the resources are clear, not overloaded and simple to use. Many resources available are complex and not suitable for students with low reading abilities, this is why I took the time and found these resources. I wanted to share as they may be beneficial and may save people time. Suitable for Primary, KS1 and SEN. Happy teaching and thanks for looking.

I made this to explain to my students who is the Prime Minister, what the role of the Prime Minister is, and to explain what a law is in simple context. The learning objective is to explain what the government does. Independent and groups tasks. Plenary at the end. Use of images to help understanding. One task includes separating silly laws and real laws will include the hand out. This PowerPoint will cover the whole lesson.

Perfect to teach students about healthy eating, the PowerPoint contains two videos of the extreme of unhealthy diets. To encourage healthy eating. Easy to adapt, I used this in special Ed to Sixth Form Students, great lesson, encourages a lot of discussion.

This lesson was designed to explain fair and unfair in a simple way using Olympics, Paralympics and democracy. The lesson includes activities. Videos - insightful Experiment - to explain how unfair and fair effects a person while reinforcing examples of fairness and feelings.

This is a terms planning for a mixed ability class. I swapped lesson 6 to lesson 5, the broad beans took off and I was able to show the students germination. Students gently held the seeds, and discussed the small shoot and the roots, this helped consolidate their learning. The students then re-planted their seeds. I also had the pleasure of leading Forest Schools, students discovered habitats discussed food chains. Seeds should cost no more than a £1 Sunflower & Broad bean. Lessons include starters, hooks plus plenaries and may i say differentiation! A fab term learning was achieved :). ******This bundle includes 6 lessons with 24 resources - Happy Teaching

6 lessons based on habitats and food chains - this planning helped with assessment. Planted seeds in lesson 5 by lesson 6 the following week later I was able to show the students germination - swapped lesson 6 to lesson 5. The broad beans really took off, it help consolidate their learning.

Planning designed to teach students reading, writing and comprehension in a completely functional and meaningful style. Starter games are added into each lesson to include speaking and listening. Worksheets are designed in an assessment style to help prepare students for assessments and exams. Bundle includes 18 lessons, designed to rotate, two weeks reading, two weeks writing and Speaking and Listening starter games are incorporated into each lesson. Planning includes; differentiation, learning objective, key vocab, resources, lesson extensions, success criteria and purpose of leaning. I also created on the web my own word searches relating to the lesson. Type in google free word search and I recommend the word search generator, so simple to differentiate. I could not add my starter games (sorry) they are off Twinkl. The ideas are there, and games such as i went to the shop and bought… so simple yet engaging and fun, found interviews questions also to be fun, just write prompt cards. All planning and worksheets are easy to adapt, personalise and make it your own in seconds. I hope this helps save teachers time.

First and Then Board: Designed for children and young people on the spectrum. Laminate the board attach Velcro and the board will be more durable. The purpose of the board is to attach symbols to allow a person to understand what are doing now and then. The boards reduce anxiety.
